Confessions on Victory Over My Circumstances
Confessing the Word of God is a powerful tool in your life. Through Christ, we have victory in this life over any problem, issue, or concern that arises. Lining your words up with what the Word says will build your faith to receive the victory you are believing for. Use these confessions daily or as often as you like to boost your faith.
- I am strong and courageous! I am not afraid or discouraged. The Lord goes with me wherever I go. He fights for me against my enemies. They can’t stand up against me. He gives me the victory! My victory comes from you, O Lord. He who lives in me is greater than he who lives in the world. (Joshua 1:9, Joshua 10:8, Deuteronomy 20:4, Psalm 3:8, 1 John 4:4)
- The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. I am seated with Christ in heavenly places. I sing songs of joy and victory. The strong right arm of the Lord has done glorious things and is raised in triumph. God is for me, so who could be against me? (Psalm 118:14-16 , Ephesians 2:6, Romans 8:31)
- I do not fear anything, for God is with me. I am not afraid because He is my God. He strengthens me and helps me. He holds me up with his hand of power and victory. I trust in the Lord, and in him I find new strength. I do not grow weary or faint. I have peace in Jesus. Although many trials may arise, He has already overcome them for me. Overwhelming victory is mine through Christ, who loves me. (Isaiah 41:10, Isaiah 40:31, John 16:33, Romans 8:37)
- Even when I am pressed on every side by troubles, I will not be crushed. I may be perplexed, but I will never despair. Because, thank you Lord, you give me the victory through Jesus. When temptation comes, He will show me a way out. When I go through deep waters, God is with me, and I will not drown. When I walk through the fire I will not be burned up. For the Lord my God is my savior. (2 Corinthians 4:8, 1 Corinthians 15:57, 1 Corinthians 10:13, Isaiah 43:2-3)
- I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. I have not been given a spirit of fear or timidity. I have a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. I am strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. I wear the full armor of God which enables me to stand firm against the attacks of the devil. I wear the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of peace, and the helmet of salvation. I carry the shield of faith and sword of the spirit. I am a child of God, and through my faith I defeat this evil world and obtain victory. (Philippians 4:13, 2 timothy 1:7, Ephesians 6:10-17, 1 John 5:4)
