Confessions on Healing

Confessing the Word of God is a powerful tool in your life. Are you believing for healing in your own body, mind, or emotions? Or maybe, you have a loved one in need of healing. God has already provided healing for you through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. Lining your words up with what the Word says about healing, will build your faith to receive the healing you are believing for.  Use these confessions daily or as often as you like to boost your faith.

  • God alone can heal me, and I praise Him. I know that God has a good plan for my life. A plan to prosper me, not to harm me, and to give me a future and a hope. He has promised to restore health to me and heal me of my wounds. He is, Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals me. (Jeremiah 17:14, Jeremiah 29:11, Jeremiah 30:17, Exodus 15:26)

  • The Lord is restoring my health, and delivering me out of all my afflictions. He has sent his Word and healed me and rescued me from the grave. I praise Him with my whole heart. I will never forget the good things He does for me. He forgives my sins and heals my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercy. He fills my life with good things and my youth is renewed like the eagle’s! I will not die; instead, I will live to tell what the LORD has done. (Psalm 107:19-20, Psalm 30:2, Psalm 34:19, Psalm 103:1-5, Psalm 118:17)

  • No weapon formed against me will prosper. I will not be afraid because God is with me. I will not be discouraged because He is my God. He strengthens me, helps me, and holds me up. He brings victory to me. (Isaiah 54:17, Isaiah 41:10)

  • Jesus came so that I would have life, and have it to the full. The Lord desires for me to prosper and be in good health. (John 10:10, 3 John 2)

  • The Spirit of God (the Holy Spirit), who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in me. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, He gives life to my mortal body by the same Holy Spirit living within me. (Romans 8:11)

  • The Bible is full of accounts of crowds of people bringing their sick to Jesus, and they were all healed of every kind of disease and illness. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Jesus wants me healed, and he has provided healing for me. Jesus personally carried my sins in his body on the cross so that I can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds I am healed! (Acts 5:16, Matthew 9:35, Hebrews 13:8,1 Peter 2:24)

  • Jesus was pierced for my wrongdoing, he was crushed for my sin; he was punished so that I could have peace. By the wounds he bore, I am healed. (Isaiah 53:5)

  • Jesus said that everything is possible with God, and that anything is possible if a person believes. Jesus also said that I could speak to a mountain and tell it to be lifted up and thrown into the sea and it would happen, if I believed without doubt. I am a believer, and not a doubter. So, right now, I speak to this “mountain” of (insert name of sickness/illness) . Be gone from my body in the Name of Jesus! I believe that I receive my healing from (insert name of sickness/illness). Healing is mine, and I take it now in Jesus name! (Mark 10:27, Mark 9:23, Matthew 21:21-22, Mark 11:22-24)

  • I hold tightly, and without wavering to the hope I have, for God can be trusted to keep his promises. I will not throw away my confident trust in the Lord. I patiently endure: trusting God and doing His will. I receive all that he has promised. I am not moved by the doctor’s report or by any symptoms in my body. I walk by faith and not by sight. (Hebrews 10:23, 35-36, 2 Corinthians 5:7)
